The American West
The Story of Mortenson RanchStill wild. Still real. The land remembers everything.— Clint Mortenson, Founder
Clint Mortenson
Horseman · Craftsman · RancherClint Mortenson grew up on a ranch in South Dakota, where his father, brother and he trained show horses. In 1992, Clint auditioned to be a rider for the new Disney theme park in Paris, landed a spot, and spent a year in France performing with cast members in a variety of horseback roles.
Clint trained in saddle making under Harry Adams, building a foundation in craftsmanship that carries through everything he creates. His custom trophy buckles are awarded at the Rodeo de Santa Fe and at international polo tournaments, recognized for their detail, weight, and authenticity. With a background in marketing and art, Clint has spent every year since refining his work and building something the West can stand behind. His craftsmanship has reached far beyond New Mexico. He has made saddles and horse goods for Euro Disney, the Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, and has created pieces for presidents and royalty.

The Most Filmed Ranch in the Southwest
Since the 1960s, Mortenson's Eaves Movie Ranch has played a pivotal role in shaping the Western genre. Designed as a working frontier town, it has provided the perfect backdrop for legendary films and television productions for over six decades.
Its weathered wooden buildings, dusty streets, and vast desert landscapes have helped bring countless Western stories to life — making it a treasured piece of Hollywood and American history.
